Go Cup Hochhaus Herrengasse 2019
The International Tournament Go Cup Hochhaus Herrengasse took place from June 22nd to 23rd 2019 in the heart of Vienna’s first district, near the city centre. In between lots of strong players and European professionals, Nikola Mitic (7d) of Serbia and Andrii Kravets (1p) of Ukraine managed to share first place, followed by Stanislav Frejlak (7d) from Poland on place three. Appart from lots of interesting games on the 1st and 13th floor and a very nice view of Vienna, Kobayashi Chizu (6p) from Japan held a workshop and gave us further insights into Go in general, and how to take advantage of recently emerging AI software. http://goverband.at/wien2019, pictures, results on EGD
